Primary patients report

The Primary patients report allows you to track the conversion of primary patients of the clinic into regular patients. The report on primary patients also helps to identify trends in the work of doctors with primary patients, i.e. how many patients return to a specialist after the first visit.

The report is divided into four sections, with data grouped by category:

  • Doctors - all clinic specialists who see patients;
  • Number of first-time patients - the number of patients who came for a visit for the first time during the selected period;
  • Number of patients - with or without a treatment plan;
  • Amount of work.

The Number of primary patients section is divided into two columns:

  • Total - the number of primary patients who have a first visit with the status Done for the selected period;
  • Returned to the clinic - this parameter shows the number of patients who visited the clinic more than once, i.e. it is considered that if a patient came to the clinic more than once, he/she became a regular patient. This parameter is determined on the basis of information about the patient's visits for the selected period. Additionally, you can create a patient status of Regular and thus mark patients who are treated in the clinic on a regular basis.

    The number of patients who come back is an indirect indicator of the quality of the primary (consultative) patient appointment. It is the percentage of conversion of primary patients into regular patients that helps determine the effectiveness of work with primary patients by each clinic doctor, which in turn makes it possible to analyze and implement the best methods of working with patients at the first appointment.

It is thanks to this data that you can see:

  1. How many primary patients came to the clinic in total;
  2. How many to each doctor;
  3. And how many of them returned for repeat visits(to each doctor).

The Number of patients section also groups data into two categories: Patients with or without a treatment plan and demonstrates how many primary patients doctors have made treatment plans for. This helps to analyze the quality of the primary consultation.

The Amount of work section allows you to estimate the difference between the amount of the treatment plan and the amount of work performed on it.

Important! The amount of the treatment plan that is marked as Approved in the Treatment plans section of the patient's record is taken into account.

Also, report cells can be color-coded to show the conversion of patients from primary to permanent:

  • Red - if the conversion is less than 50%;
  • Pale green - if the conversion is greater than or equal to 50%;
  • Bright green - if the conversion is 100%.
Please note! Conversion rates are calculated from the number of primary patients in the Total column.

All indicators of the number of primary patients have hyperlinks. That is, clicking on the cells opens a list of patients containing the following data

  • date of the first and last visit;
  • doctor of the first and last visit;
  • next visit;
  • plan amount;
  • and other information about the patient.

You can also filter patients in the report by planned work. To do this, click on the Filter by planned work button in the upper right and select the types of work you want to sort in the new window.

Please note! On the right next to each section and price item, the total percentage of this manipulation in all planned work for primary patients is indicated. If you hover over the percentage value, the sum of the planned work for all primary patients (in the main currency of the clinic) will be displayed.

This allows you to track which doctor is better at motivating patients, for example, for orthopedic treatment, and analyze how to scale this approach.
