General clinic report

General clinic report is one of the main tools used by clinic administrators and heads in their daily routine. The report shows general financial data of the clinic and is used to group patient payments by legal entities(clinic companies) which accounts are used for payments.

Add a clinic legal entity in Settings → Other → Clinic companies for patient management to enable automatic generation of the report and specify the related legal entities for every cash desk in Cash Desks → Settings.

Adding of a clinic company will enable use of a programmed payment transaction recorders in Cliniccards in future.

General Clinic Report also affords monitoring of the following financial data of the clinic:

• Amount of payments, including detailing by the types of payments. An amount of performed works and payments for a selected period may be different because of patients having debts and advance payments.
• Amount of performed works is a total cost of works performed during the selected period and discounts assigned to a patient;
• Spending amount of the clinic, including detailed information on the supplier invoices that have been or have not been paid and amounts of the paid salaries and related taxes;;
• Total profit is a difference between the amount of clinic payments and spendings.

You may find information on the amount of work performed by every doctor of the clinic below on the page of the report. You may also additionally analyze the information in the report Works performed by a doctor.

This information is also provided as a bar chart that demonstrates profit by works performed by every doctor of the clinic for a selected period. 

There is a comparison table of the clinic profit and spendings for the selected period at the bottom of the page. This table contains total profit for every month calculated by the following formula:

Profit  = Amount of performed works - Amount of spendings

A user shall have a special access right Access to the clinic report (Settings → Access rights) to work with this report. Getting the access right enables a specialist to view general financial reports of the clinic provided in the section Reports, category Clinic Reports. Access to the report is usually assigned to heads and administrators of the clinic and restricted to doctors and assistants.

We recommend adding time limits for financial reports for financial employees to restrict a period during which a specialist can view the report and other financial data of the clinic.
