Functionality to work with insurance companies

Cliniccards has developed a user-friendly functionality to work with insurance companies (IC).

First of all, you need to enter an IC`s information in the Settings - Other - Insurance companies section. Then, in the Document Templates, create and set up a Report template for an insurance company (or several templates depending on the requirements of a specific IC).

In the owner's profile, in the Settings - Other - Clinic settings section, enable:

  • Show the ‘diagnosis’ field on invoices;
  • Copy invoices for insurance companies (if a patient has an insurance policy added).

When filling in the profile of a patient being served under an insurance policy, it is necessary to Add an insurance policy at the bottom of the profile page and complete the required fields: policy limit, deductibles, etc. The name of an IC will be displayed next to the patient's name and in the schedule.

Once the above steps are completed, invoices for insurance companies will be generated automatically. The Diagnosis field will also be automatically filled in depending on the work performed. You may change the diagnosis by editing the Invoice for an insurance company.

Now it is possible to monitor information on an insurance company policy limits in the Clinic`s patients - Patients with debt - Patients with debt (insurance) section; the button may be found at the bottom right corner of the page.

The report for an IC will be in the Reports - Clinic reports - Report for the insurance company section. The report is generated for any period for the selected IC; you may select the report table 1 or 2 (table 2 provides more detailed information).

Thanks to the new functions enabled by Cliniccards, you can easily cooperate with insurance companies.
